INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Use of your Cast Cover Product is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3 !

Slide on cover
1. Slide On- Simply stretch the cover over the cast or bandage so that it completely covers the area plus an additional 3-4 inches above in order to create the vacuum seal. The top should be flat against the skin above the area you are keeping dry. If there are any sharp materials in the area you wish to seal (excess fiberglass pieces from ends of cast or anything else) we recommend that you cover them with gauze or a sock to ensure the integrity of the cover.

Pump out Air
2. Pump out the air- Pump the bulb until all air is removed from the cover and the bulb remains depressed. Once the cover is vacuumed around the dry area remove the pump and cover valve with the safety cap. Observe the cover for a moment to make sure the vacuum seal stays intact. If no changes are seen you're ready to go!

Slide off when Done
3. Slide off- When you are done with your activities simply slide a finger under the cuff of the cover and let the air back in. The cover will immediately loosen and easily slide off. Dry any areas above where the seal was created to make sure no water drips down onto the sealed area and you are ready to go on with your day!

* Do not leave on for extended periods of time. We recommend removing after every 45 minutes of use. Do not use with vascular compromised patients and steady yourself while using in wet slippery areas. Cast and Prosthetic products contain natural rubber latex which and double chlorinated to remove 99% of latex allergens but can cause allergic reactions. Consult your doctor before use if you have any concerns about our products.
