What are cast covers? Our cast cover products are latex sleeves designed to fit over your arm or leg cast to make it completely waterproof. The covers have a built in pump that pulls out all the air creating a vacuum seal that allows no water to enter. Once the cast cover is sealed you are able to shower, bathe, swim, receive hydrotherapy, or participate in any water activity you like. Cast covers work great for the beach as they also protect from sand or other particles that could get inside the cast.

What are you PICC line products? Our PICC line products are an open ended latex-free cover that slide up your arm to cover and protect your PICC or IV line while showering, bathing, or even swimming. The cover has a built in pump that pulls out the air creating a vacuum seal that allows to water to enter. The open ended design allows you to have use of both hands while the wearing you PICC cover.

What are Prosthetic Covers? Prosthetic covers are latex covers designed to cover and seal off your prosthesis from water or other materials that could interfere with a prosthetic limb. They are made of durable latex material with a non skid gridTM on the bottom to provide increased traction while in use. The covers feature a built in pump that draws out all the air around the prosthesis creating a vacuum seal that allows nothing to enter the sealed area. Prosthetic covers are great for use showering, swimming, and trips to the beach where sand can be a big problem.

What if I am allergic to latex? Our cast and prosthetic covers are made from latex materials that are double chlorinated to remove 99% of latex allergens from the product. Most patients have no problems using the product but always consult your doctor before use if you have any concerns. Our PICC line covers are made of latex free material that is safe for use with a latex allergy.

How do I measure to find the right size? Accurate measurements are important to find the right size for you. The best way to measure in with a cloth tape measure or to take a piece of string to mark the size and then lay out to measure it. For cast and prosthetic covers you will need two measurements. The first is the circumference, or distance around, the arm or leg about 4 inches above where the cast ends. The second measurement is the length from the top of the cast to end of fingertips for the arm, or to the heel for the leg. For more information use the How to Measure section.
